Letting Things Die
Scorpio Full Moon has been a doozy over here. Maybe you’ve felt it too…
The energy has been ALOT.
Emotional charged with themes around release, excavation, shedding, uncomfortable truth, and transformation.
I've had lots come up this week that in truth has been uncomfortable to say the least.
Old patterns. My go to avoidant habits.
Things it's time to let go of that I've been resisting but deep down I know it's time for them to die.
Thoughts and beliefs that I was sure had died resurfacing in the most frustrating ways. Ones I thought I'd buried long ago. The ego death that's happening here is me trying to force them to be gone on my own timeline and instead welcoming them with understanding and compassion - because sometimes death is slow.
It's been hard but also freeing to be able to face it all and know I'll move through it with a deeper knowing of who I am.
Because like nature it's a part of our cycle. Letting things die so we can make room for the new.
Death is a part of life.
New things come at the end of a cycle.
The renewal is inevitable.
Where we get stuck is hiding from it.
Trying to hold on to things because it's safe.
Because it's comfortable.
Because we believe we have some form of control and we don't want to face it because the death of something is hard no matter what it is.
Here's what I know.
To live as the most vital, embodied version of who we are, we have to allow space for the dark to be seen.
We have to be brave enough to walk through the flames. Facing the parts of ourselves we don't want to look at.
The uncomfortable shadows we all carry.
The messy, raw bits we don't want anyone to see.
Because roots form in the dark.
Foundations are built underground.
When we're brave enough to surrender, that's where the most fertile soil is found for new seeds to be planted.
We grow stronger because we’ve built from authentic truth. We become more unshakeable in who we are because we’ve faced the shadows.
We are transformed with that much more capacity to expand.
Here’s to our rising.
Want to work with me 1:1?
We don’t build a new life by escaping the old one.
We build it by rooting into the truth we’re ready to live.
You don’t need a formula.
Instead, a mirror. A witness. A guide.
That’s what I hold space for.
