I don't know about you but I want to spend my mental energy on things I'm passionate about, not trying to figure out what’s ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ to eat, what the ‘best’ workout is, what defines success, what a spiritual practice should look like, what I should be doing to make my life better - the list goes on. And on.
We fill our heads with so much clutter and it’s exhausting. Trying to do all the ‘right' things when the only thing we should be thinking about is what's truly right for us.
Yes, means exploring and experimenting with different things that you might read about, or someone even tells you about.
But more importantly, it means having the highest, most honest level of discernment when it comes to what we consume in all areas of our lives and making choices from that place.
Because your body knows.
What tastes good to you.
What situations are right for you.
Who your people are. And who are not.
What brings you joy and true satisfaction.
What feels like success to you especially when it's not we've been told we're 'supposed' to want.
What your passions are even when they're not what's considered 'cool'.
This can be super un-nerving. To stand in your own knowing when it means stepping outside the perscribed path.
I've been there. Walking your own is scary as hell. But also so freeing. It's like a weight that's being lifted because we no longer have to hold onto all the things that we think we need to know, or need to be a part of, or need to be chasing.
We just get to be. And what a deep sigh of relief that is.
To be able to choose what feels nourishing to you takes radical responsibility. It takes peeling back all the things we've been taught and realizing what works for us - and more importantly, what doesn’t which means we get to release it and free up more energy for what truly makes us feel good.
I don't know about you but I want to suck as much juice out of life as possible. And I want to feel it all. I want to know that no matter what I'm always going to be the one who has the final say about what works for me in my life and what doesn't.
I want you to enjoy cooking and eating delicious, nourishing food without stressing about it.
I want you to find a spiritual practice that helps you feel more connected to yourself.
I want you to be able to come back to that inner knowing that's been there inside you all along and use that to guide your life
I want you to be able to discern what matters most to you to create the most nourishing, delicious, pleasure filled life possible.
If this is something the resonates with you, I'm going to be guiding a small group of humans through a mentorship container where we'll explore tools and practices for you to get there.
I know what it feels like to feel stuck, and numb and overwhelmed and just like you're living life in this dull, black and white space. We get to live in technicolour.
We get to choose how we thrive in this life so if you feel the call to be supported to be on this path, let's explore it together.
Applications are open now for A Nourished Life. I'd love to see you inside!
